Rick and Ellen Burnette responded to the
call to serve and that meant that they packed up their sons and moved to Thailand. They have worked with the UHDP, Upland
Holistic Development Project, among the Palaung People as Cooperative Baptist Fellowship field personnel for many years. The Upland Holistic Development Project seeks to provide an appropriate
Christian response related to rural development among increasingly marginalized hilltribe people in the Golden Triangle region
of Southeast Asia. PBC has partnered with them for many years now. We are blessed to be a part of their work
providing wells, citizenship, and Christian love. Today they are working with ECHO Asia and continue to serve God in Thailand.
